We are so excited to add Costa Rica to our line of coffees! From Hacienda La Minita in the Tarrazu region, these beans are meticulously grown and cultivated with a passion unrivaled by other farms. Although they have not chosen to be certified organic - we believe you can't get much more "organic" than this farm! They weed completely by hand (with machetes!), and there are no insecticides used anywhere on the farm. La Minita has long been considered by many experts to be one of the world’s most exquisite coffees. It is one of the last true Estate coffees, as the owners meticulously oversee and control every aspect of the coffee preparation, from nursery through final milling. This coffee is smooth and balanced - one of our new favorites!
