During the 19th century, the Chisholm Trail was an important cattle route spanning from Texas to Kansas and traveled all the way through Oklahoma Territory. During those long cattle drives, coffee was a staple to every cowboy on that trail and cherished like bars of gold. Coffee was also shared around the campfire along with stories, news, and ideas. Cowboys were undoubtedly the most devoted group of coffee drinkers in the West. As a rule, they liked it strong, scalding hot, and barefooted (black).
Our Chisholm Trail blend reminds us of those long ago days around the campfire and just may give you the urge to ride the range.
